1I’m 100% in agreement! And what’s really wild is that I had kinda already come to this conclusion on my own before finding this page, I just hadn’t fleshed it out quite as much. And neither of us are doctors! But at this point I’m quite confident I’ve done more reading about FND than any of the drs my child has seen. They may go to med school but how much time could they realistically spend studying each separate neurological condition? When the only condition we have to worry about researching is the one affecting us or our loved ones.
I do have a question- when you say “This diagnosis is historically riddled with real underlying causes, such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, lupus, Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome, to name just a few.”- Do you have any sources for this? I absolutely believe it, I’d just love to have some sources to back me up when I propose this theory to others.
